Motorcycle First Aid Kit

Having recently completed the St John’s Ambulance Providing First Aid course, I thought it would be good to evaluate the First Aid Kits that I have and see if they need sprucing up. Shockingly I discovered that I only had one kit for the home, none for the car or bike. After checking the home kit, which, I believe, is very comprehensive, I went looking for a kit for the car and for the bike.

Being limited on storage I needed a small kit for the CB400 which I could stash in the very small compartment underneath the seat. I ended up getting the Trafalgar Personal First Aid Kit to add to my collection of motorcycle essentials – Part One | Part Two.

However, the contents of the kit didn’t really cover some of the basic elements that I think are necessary for motorcycling, so I replaced some of the items with other first aid components.

The full kit now comprises of:

  • 1x Scissors
  • 1x Large Wound Dressing
  • 1x Disposable Latex Gloves
  • 1x Triangular Bandage
  • 1x Conforming Bandage
  • 5x Adhesive Strips
  • 2x Wound Wipes
  • 2x Safety Pins
  • 2x Zip Lock Bags
  • 1x First Aid Guide
